Notifications
Prospector posts to two Slack channels: a discovery channel for batch summaries, and a wholesale channel for per-entity updates and the daily digest. Your administrator chooses which channels these are. Silence is intentional: if a re-check finds nothing material, Prospector does not post.
Per-Entity Enrichment Card
When: A re-enrichment run finds a material change in a profile (new role, new firm, new press hit, a BrokerCheck disclosure, a new section on the practice site, a notable LinkedIn signal).
What it contains:
- The entity's name, current firm, and role
- A one-paragraph diff narrative leading with what is new
- The source that caught the change
- A snapshot of current freshness across all sources
- Buttons: Open Profile, Open in HubSpot, Refresh Now, Suppress for 30 Days
Action required: None. The card is for awareness and for handing off to outreach. If the change merits a follow-up, you can ask Signal Outreach or Sales Assistant to draft from it.
Discovery Batch Digest
When: A discovery run against a domain list completes.
What it contains:
- The number of domains processed and how many candidates were found
- The top candidates by confidence score, with name, title, firm, and email confidence band
- The number of high-confidence candidates that auto-enqueued for full enrichment
- A link to the full ranked list on the dashboard discovery tab
Action required: Review the dashboard tab to confirm the candidates. High-confidence rows continue to full enrichment on the next pass; lower-confidence rows wait for your manual promotion.
End-of-Day Digest
When: Once daily at the end of the trading day, posted to the wholesale channel.
What it contains:
- How many advisors or wholesalers were enriched in the last twenty four hours
- The share that showed material change
- Average freshness across the book
- Top movers: the entities with the most significant diffs of the day
- Sources hit during the day, with any provider issues called out
Action required: None. The digest is a daily pulse on the state of your territory. Skip-if-zero: on days with no enrichment activity, the digest does not post.
Meeting Prep Summary
When: Once each weekday morning, before the trading day starts, when your calendar contains external meetings.
What it contains:
- The meetings on your day with external attendees
- For each external attendee: name, firm, and a short pre-call note built from the latest profile
- A link to the full profile per attendee
- A flag on any attendee whose profile changed in the last twenty four hours
Action required: Skim before your first meeting block. The notes are for you, not for the advisor.
Freshness Alert
When: The freshness score for a tier-one advisor or coverage contact falls below the threshold you have configured.
What it contains:
- Which entities have gone stale
- How long since each was last enriched
- The reason refresh has been deferred (cadence not yet due, suppressed, source unavailable)
Action required: Trigger a manual refresh from Slack if you want a current pull before contact, or accept the cadence if the contact is not imminent.
Provider Issue Notice
When: A research source has returned errors across enough runs to warrant your attention (rate limits, blocked requests, an account quota exhausted before month end).
What it contains:
- Which source is affected
- A plain-English description of the issue
- What it means for profiles in the meantime (the affected source is skipped; other sources continue)
Action required: Usually none for you directly: your administrator handles provider escalation. Contact support@alpheous.com if the notice persists across several days.
