Signal Outreach

Signal Outreach turns a fresh market or regulatory signal into a stack of advisor-ready draft emails, one per matched contact, each landing in your own Gmail Drafts folder. You read every draft, edit if you want, and click Send yourself. Alpheous never sends.

A signal is any moment that warrants reaching out: a 13F position change at a custodian holding your product, a Form D from a competitor in your sleeve, an enforcement action affecting an advisor's BrokerCheck, a new Form ADV window, a Form 5500 plan match, an IAPD update. When one of those lands as a post in the signals channel, you click "Draft Outreach Emails" and Signal Outreach goes to work on the contacts that signal flagged.

Each draft is grounded in the actual filing, the contact's record in your CRM, prior touches in your firm's history, and the firm and product context for that advisor. Per-contact angle variation keeps five drafts to the same firm from reading like five copies of the same email.

What It Does

Signal Outreach is the bridge between a signal post and an advisor's inbox. The signal sits in the channel until a wholesaler decides it deserves an outbound move. The click is the human decision; the drafting is the agent's job.

For each contact matched to the signal, Signal Outreach pulls the filing excerpt, gathers a firm brief and a contact brief from your CRM and your firm's communications history, picks a rotating angle so the openers vary, and writes a 60 to 150 word email anchored in a specific fact from the signal. The drafts are checked against your compliance rules. Anything that fails is rewritten up to three times; what survives lands in your Drafts folder.

The agent stamps your signature when it writes to Gmail. It does not invent a sender name. It does not propose a specific meeting time. It does not name the underlying regulatory filing in the body. It writes the way a wholesaler would talk on the phone about what changed.

Key Capabilities

CapabilityWhat it gives you
Per-contact draftingOne distinct draft per matched advisor, each with a rotating angle so a single firm sees variation
Signal-grounded openersEvery opener cites a specific fact from the filing: a position size, a period, a plan name, an issuer
Firm and contact contextDrafts pull from your CRM record for the firm and the contact, plus prior communications and dossier notes
Product accuracyThe product reference includes its strategy category, so the recipient and any reviewer reads the email correctly
Compliance gatingEvery draft passes through your firm's compliance rules; flagged drafts are rewritten before they reach Gmail
Gmail Drafts deliveryDrafts land in the clicker's own Drafts folder, not a shared mailbox; the signature is stamped automatically

The Approval Rule

Signal Outreach drafts. You send. There is no exception.

The agent works autonomously through every step up to the Drafts folder: it reads the signal, gathers the briefs, writes the email, runs it through compliance, and writes it to Gmail. From there, the human takes over. Open the draft, read it end to end, adjust whatever wording you want, and click Send when you are ready. Nothing leaves your outbox without you clicking the button.

Two safety rails sit behind that rule. First, only staff with outbound-draft permission can click the button; the click is rejected if the permission is off, with a message in the thread explaining why. Second, every draft is reviewed against your firm's compliance rules before it reaches Gmail. A draft that still has unresolved rule hits after three rewrite attempts is delivered anyway, with the compliance status recorded so your compliance team can review it; the subject line is left clean so your inbox stays readable.

Who It's For

  • Wholesalers and external sales staff: turn a single click on a signal post into a ready-to-send draft for every relevant advisor at the flagged firm.
  • Distribution leaders: keep the team acting on signals while every outbound communication still passes through compliance and a human reviewer.
  • Compliance officers: every draft is gated against your governance rules; flagged drafts are surfaced for review rather than silently shipped.
  • Commands: how to trigger drafts and what the button does.
  • Notifications: what posts back to Slack when drafts are ready.
  • Schedule: when Signal Outreach is active.
  • Examples: walk-throughs of common signal-to-draft flows.
  • Troubleshooting: common questions and what to check when a draft does not appear.
