Regulatory Digest runs on four cadences. Each one reads whatever the ingestion has taken in since the last run of that cadence, classifies it, and posts a card per area that had something. You do not ask for any of them: there is no on-demand path. See Commands.
Each cadence is driven by its own ingestion run, so the digest arrives right after the material it is reading has landed.
The Four Cadences

Times are local to the machine your firm's install runs on.
Two details worth knowing, because they are easy to assume wrongly:
- The daily run includes Saturday and skips Sunday. Saturday's card covers Friday's late filings. There is no Sunday daily card, because the weekly card runs that morning instead.
- The quarterly run lands mid-month, not on the first day of the quarter. It runs on the 15th, two weeks in, so the quarter's late filings are in before it reads.
What Changes Between Cadences
Less than you might expect. All four cadences produce the same kind of card, from the same classifier, against the same materiality bar. What changes is the window each one reads and the label in the trailer: Daily update, Weekly digest, Monthly digest, Quarterly digest.
A longer cadence is not a differently-shaped report. It does not group by theme, it does not add a trend note, and it does not compare this period against the last one. It is the same per-area card over a longer window, so the lead item on a weekly card is the most material thing of the week rather than of the day.
Earlier versions of this page described the weekly, monthly, and quarterly cards as themed rollups with trend notes and period-over-period counts. That rollup was built and then removed: it restated counts already visible in the per-area cards. The longer cadences ship as described above.
Reading Habit
The daily card is a morning read. Because the weekly card lands at 5:00am on Sunday, it is waiting for you before a Monday compliance or distribution meeting without anyone having to request it the night before.
The monthly and quarterly cards are the ones worth keeping: they are the natural input to an executive readout, a committee report, or a board pack, and they sit in the archive where you can open them again when you are writing that document. See Regulatory Digest in the operator console.
When A Cadence Produces Nothing
If a run finds no new documents in its window, it posts nothing at all. No card, no note. See Notifications.
A run is also skipped, deliberately, in two cases: when your operator has frozen the digest, and when a previous run of the same cadence finished very recently, which stops a re-run from posting the same cards twice.
